All the forms in this series epitomise the feminism of the woman- beautiful and unique. This is a response to the Iranian uprising, The Neolithic female figurines have always been associated with beauty and fertility, but recent studies have suggested that they are totems of survival in extreme conditions and symbol of strength to motherhood. The handles symbolise togetherness and remind us that we are never alone or isolated, but rather connected to the world - the circle of life. In every culture and religion, the Tree Of Life symbolizes strength, personal development, union, and fertility. It’s seen as a symbol of femininity due to its long branches and flowing leaves; the trunk is seen as masculine.
